Flexible and Customisable

With an easy to use administration dashboard, creating exams and marking surface defects can be done in 4 simple steps.

  • Selecting the model
    With comprehensive library of pre-installed 3D models, simply choose from the thumbnails.
  • Applying the textures
    Either choose the pre-installed textures to apply to your models or create your own defects to appear on the model.
  • Configuring Orientation
    Using the inbuilt controls, you can quickly orientate the 3D model to be presented in the examination.
  • Plotting Defects / Automated Marking
    Identification pins are used to plot the location of the defect.

Online Assessments

The assessment area presents the student with an easy to use interface in which potential defects can be identified and assessed for acceptability. The model can be orientated and zoomed in to the appropriate level for inspection.

Automated Marking

Upon completion of a question, the system automates the marking process and instantly evaluates identification results. Exam schema rules are optional, such as negative marking for overlooking defects.
